Wanted a tach for my Triumph Rocket III Touring (R3T). This tach enables you to program the number of cylinders (1 ~ 15). Very easy to install. With a six wire harness that is included, only four wires are typically connected. I ran the tach off the #2 coil (because the #1 coil is not easily accessible). The odd part was on the R3T, I had to set the # of cylinders to one (and not three) to get the tach to register correctly. Odd! That was what Digital Dakota recommended too.
