Easy Brackets are an innovative two (2) point docking system that allows the quick and easy installation and removal of saddlebags. Easy Brackets use two (2) existing bolts holes in the fender rail of the motorcycle. By replacing the existing bolts with the docking posts and longer bolts provided in each kit, the Easy Brackets can then be instantly installed and locked into place.
Because each Easy Bracket is for your motorcycle, you will receive all of the correct hardware with your order. The docking posts and bolts are especially designed to work perfectly with your motorcycle, eliminating the hassles of adding spacing washers to either line up the docking posts or to achieve a good, tight fit.
Note: If you have a Hondaline backrest you will need EZ-VTX-R2BR instead. ...

Awesome buy. My Saddleman bags started to break and crack at yoke connection. Easy bracket and a piece of 1/4in aluminum sured up the bags.

This item gets mixed reviews from me. These brackets are heavy duty and mounting them on the bike is a breeze. It's a bit more trouble to mount the saddlebags to the brackets, but still nothing really to it (and I have no mechanical skills). On the other hand, these things cost $150 (on sale) and there's not $20 worth of metal in them. Plus, there's not quite enough metal. The bracets don't extend low enough to provide a good base for the bags to mount to so they flop around too much. How much more would it have cost the company to add another three or four inches of sheet metal? I'll have to rig something myself this winter. The bolts for mounting the bags to the brackets are included, but are too long. Shorter bolts would have allowed me to put the rounded head of the bolt on the inside and the nuts/washers on the outside thus infringing less on the space inside the saddlebags. I like the brackets b/c they enable removal of the bags, but, honestly, I could have designed a b...

Just added saddle bags to my bike and was looking at a lot of brackets and bags, finally went with Leatherneck Jims made in the USA heavy duty Leather and what a great choice and these brackets and bags are the best out there. When you want to wash your bike or take it in for service these brackets are attached right to the bag and with a turn of a key the bags and bracket are off leaving the bolts. Only thing is when you install make sure you have two people and first use a strong tape(I used duct tape) to hole the bracket onto the bag before you drill to make sure both sides are level and looking at both bags on the bike again before drilling and make the final attachment of the bracket to the bag. When you attach the bags the washers are way to same so I went to the hardware store and picked up bigger washers which will hold more weight to the bracket making it more secure. The washer cost me a big total of .75 cents. The bags I got were the Desperado with the stud around the fron...
