Purchased from my local vtwin custom shop. These pipes are great quality and give a deep big-bike sound. May need to disable the AIS or re-jet to stop occasional backfires on deceleration.

Great pipes, even on 09 650 you need to re-jet, it runs lean. You need the exhaust port gasket for the rear pipe, and V&H eliminates the front gasket. I am leaving the baffles in for now, until I re-jet in 2 weeks, it is already louder than I thought it would be, but it is nice. I have noticed an improvement in performance already, and all the more reason to re-jet. I did install by myself, and found it rather easy, except for the dealership giving me the wrong gasket twice, it took all of 30 minutes to remove and install, and I am not mechanically inclined at all, it is that simple. oh, and the chrome looks good, I added a picture to show on profile if you wanna see.
