The Mustang Ultra Touring seats for 1997 and up have been engineered with several improvements over the stock seat. The Ultra seats are 1.5" narrower at the nose so the driver's legs can easily fit around it and his feet can reach the ground. The baseplate has been recontoured in front to eliminate the hard spots the rider felt on long trips with the stock seat. The rear seat has wide internal support wings to keep the passenger up off the handrail. The seats are contoured to better clear the saddlebag lids. It is also split to accept the stock driver backrest kit. Both styles measure 17" wide in front and 16" wide in the rear.
This accessory fits all current model years for:
- Harley Davidson Touring/Dresser

I have had Mustang single piece rider/passenger seats on two other motorcycles. I have been a huge Mustang fan for over a decade!
This particular seat may not be the right seat for me, on my Harley Davidson Electra Glide. The jury is still out.
The seat raises you about one inch up and pushes you one inch forward. When I sit on the seat, I feel like I am on it rather than in it. The stock pillow seat on a Harley Davidson Electra Glide is pretty comfortable. This seat is harder than the stock seat which I did expect. Maybe it will take time to get used to.
This seat does not feel like it has the lower back support of my other Mustang Seats. I will not know for sure how I really feel about this seat until I take it on a long ride.
For the money I paid, I was expecting that familiar Mustang feel. This seat does not feel right. I am keeping the stock seat for now, and my decide to go with another option.
For the money I paid, I was expecting much more!
