I don't ride in the wet weather ever, but the one time I got caught in the rain all my stuff dry. They have a decent amount of room and look good. I used the Easy Bracket system to install these and am a little worried about leather being strong enough at the mounting points, it's been a few years and I am seeing stress from heavy loads at the mounting points. They tend to open very easily and they don't fasten very well. Adverstise as a lockable saddle bags, after I received them, noticed this a feature not offer with this bags. They were really cheap and I mounted them using the Willie & Max Universal Saddlebag Hard-Mount Kit.
