We've used it for 2 long, wet, weekend trips and it's more than big enough for 2 peoples clothing, snacks, emergency tools, etc, including room to bring home a few goodies too. We got a thorough soaking on both trips and the integrated rain cover did a great job of keeping our gear dry and was very easy to fit. The only issues I found was that because I have a Kawasaki luggage rack, I found it too high for the strap to fit on the sissy bar properly so had to make some brackets to drop the rack down approx 2". Small bag on top just as good, i got two pairs of water proof padded pants and two large jumpers in and still had room for other stuff ideal for short rides, lifts on and off dead easy no fastners if you have sissy bar and rack.
