This exciting new product from J&M features a 40 channel CB radio, an NOAA weather band radio and stereo music amplification from any Walkman®-type music device, completely integrated together into a neat, compact unit for your motorcycle.
This JMCB-2003-SL kit includes the JMCB-2003 radio unit, solo headset hook-up harness (for one headset only), power connection filter, weather cover, cable tie straps, hardware and a complete installation and operation manual.
(Handlebar mounting bracket, helmet headset, headset hook-up cord, or the CB antenna are NOT included as these items are sold separately.)
Important Note: The JMCB-2003 is a J&M 6-pin audio system that requires the pre-amplified microphone signal provided by our Dual Mode (ECD/CD prefixed) helmet headsets...

Good, loud, clear speakers. It's a bitch to install though. You have to cut out parts of your helmet....I would still buy this again, but I'm also gonna get one with the headset professionally installed.

Works great. On the 950 with a Corbin seat, there is not much room to work with under the seat; however, the cabling was easily run under the tank without having to remove the tank. I installed a 4' FirestikII antenna to my saddlebag mounts (Yamaha hard bags) because the J&M license plate mount will not work with the 950's low license plate position. I believe this provided a much better ground plane than the license plate option, and allowed me to avoid the 18' of coax cable usually required. I also installed with LMR400 Ultra Flex cable, which is an extremely low attenuation cable. The 950's tail light wire (solid blue) is best to use for the power source, as it turns on and off with the bike's electrical. Audio clarity is great, and provides excellent (separately adjustable volume) output for your MP3, FM radio or Walkman.
Unless you have radio theory knowledge, this installation is best left to a professional. Mobile CB radios are not plug-and-play - it is very dependent upon...
