On the 950 with a Corbin seat, there is not much room to work with under the seat; however, the cabling was easily run under the tank without having to remove the tank. I installed a 4' FirestikII antenna to my saddlebag mounts (Yamaha hard bags) because the J&M license plate mount will not work with the 950's low license plate position. I believe this provided a much better ground plane than the license plate option, and allowed me to avoid the 18' of coax cable usually required. I also installed with LMR400 Ultra Flex cable, which is an extremely low attenuation cable. The 950's tail light wire (solid blue) is best to use for the power source, as it turns on and off with the bike's electrical. Audio clarity is great, and provides excellent (separately adjustable volume) output for your MP3, FM radio or Walkman. Unless you have radio theory knowledge, this installation is best left to a professional. Mobile CB radios are not plug-and-play - it is very dependent upon...
