National Cycle Cast Fender Tip - 1100 ACE

I took a great deal of care to be absolutely certain that everything was centered. The template provided was definitely off by three centimeters. But I caught that error and took it into account. After I got the tip mounted however I kept feeling like it was not truely centered. My measurements prove that it is not centered and I now know why. I took great pains to ensure that the fender tip had no gaps on the sides or the top as was so often reported here. In making certain that it was a tight a fit as I could get all the way around it then turns out that the tip is not centered. So had I worked toward centering it perfectly I might have caused one of the previously reported gaps between the tip and the fender. Bottom line is you can only truely see that the tip is not centered by looking at it straight on. Look at it from the side and you can't see it. I had three people look at it and they al...
