Nice bars, Nice chrome, Good quality. Only complaint is could use more foot room between bar and shift lever. Keep hitting it with my foot. Will have to adjust to it being there.

I researched highway bars quite a bit, for my Honda 2006 VTX 1800 C, Spec 2. One popular motorcycle parts site listed 3 units for my specific bike. One was Cobra, and they apparently don't make one for my bike. Another was "High Chrome", and their bars hit the stock directionals upon turning. So, there was only one left, the Paladin. I read the reviews and decided to go ahead and try. National Cycle Part # P4009. My suggestions: I DID need to completely remove the mounting bolts for the radiator to get enough space to put the U-bolts in. I started with the left side. Forget the directions. I could not rotate the upper bracket/U-bolt combination into position without hitting the cylinder fins, so you have to put the U-bolt on already rotated into position, put the black bar bracket onto the U-bolt, then carefully put the washers and nuts onto the U-bolt. I didn't have any trouble replacing the two lower bracket bolts with the supplied bolts. Left side, about an hour. Right s...

I had to grind an 1/8th inch notch on the lower right bar where it attaches to the back brake assembly so the top bolt would line up. On the right, you keep the stock lower bolt. The left side U bolt is a bit tricky--not a lot of room between the nut and a cylinder head fin. No need to completely unbolt the radiator. Everything else went smoothly and took about 1 1/2 hours. It looks to be very solid and the chrome was good. Supplied bolts should have been chrome. If you have short legs and want to use highway pegs, you will need to get the ones that reach back..I'm 5'8". They look good with the bike, not too big. With any luck, I won't need to test these.
