This was flat stock from lowes, a pattern was cut, from cardboard. sanded and polished with a Aluminium Polishing Rouge. then installed. It does take some time.

I actually have the "plain" version of this plate. It was the perfect clean slate for me. I had designed a club logo (a few guys made up a fictional touring club one morning over breakfast - www.golfriders.com), sent it to my engraver and had the logo laser engraved. I added clear coat to avoid rust, and have a spectacular custom piece. It took me almost 3 minutes to install, however.
