Mounts lower, gives more room for straps, etc. Needed to make a few small changes to the stock licence plate mount, but not a big deal. I like the rack...seems very sturdy.

Looks great on the bike. Not sure about usage though, there is a little sticker on it that says "Max Load 10 lbs". It does not look it is made to carry any form of luggage. It would be nice if it was clearly stated on the item description...
