They are very sturdy and it's pretty easy to get the bags on and off the bike when I want to remove them. I like the fact that the majority of the bracket goes with the bag, so when you take them off the only thing left behind is the mounting bolts which are not particularly conspicuous. My only complaint (and it's kind of a big one) is that they seem to make the bag stand out from the side of the fender more than most other bag/bracket combinations I see on the road.
