When those four big cylinders on the Magna start pounding away it sounds EXACTLY like a small block Chevy engine screaming down the highway! The chrome is absolutely superb and in my opinion no other brand or make after-market pipes can even hold a candle up to the deepness and durability of it! Because they are “flow through” exhausts, the back pressure in the exhaust has been eliminated and in my own limited trials out of them without having it paced on a meter, I can absolutely see between a 10 to 15% improvement in power. The acceleration is “snappier”, and there's no mid-range drop off at all that I can tell. A dyno meter may tell a different tale, but I am truly happy with them. I installed these along with the David Dodge carb Jet and Shim kit to correct the lean fuel condition that the pipes alone would have created. The jet kit took 6 hours to install. The first side of the Vance & Hines pipes took me 2 hours to install and the second side another 1 hour now that I understood what I was doing. I would recommend to all.
