They made my mellow sounding VStar 1100 sound ANGRY. They are loud, but not so loud that I can't hear myself think, and loud enough to make heads turn! Ease of installation and quality of the product just complemented the purchase. I used a little WD-40 to help the pipes slide on and a little pop with the palm of my hand to get the pipes seated. After that, yeah! If I could change one thing it would be the pipe clamps that accompany the kit to something like the OEM ones, regardless I am totally pleased. You truly get what you pay for. Spend the extra 100 dollars over the cost of the Jardines and get much better quality and great sound too!
