Used the included mount long enough to see what a piece of crap.t is, and ordered one of the mounts from Shadowstuff.com. and that is a well made clamp. wish it was at least polished aluminum. i have the black face and it looks good. will update with performance as time goes by.

I haven't mounted it yet. Again, I am fabricating a slightly
different bracket.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Big numbers, lighted, black-face, what more could I want?! Kind of a pain installing as my big hands don't fit into the neck area real well, but it wasn't overly difficult. Very slight needle bounce at idle, but not enough to be a problem.
Just as an update, I installed this tach in mid-January. In mid-April the bulb burned out!
