Important Fitment Details:
 Pack slips on and over sissy bars up to 12"W and "sits" on passenger section of seat or on a luggage rack in a fixed position. Secures with 2 sewn-on 1"W buckled mounting straps. 2 more sewn-on 1-1/2"W straps wrap around the sides of the sissy bar and then buckle onto the pack for added security. These straps double as shoulder straps when pack is used as a backpack.

I used this bag for my cross country trips in 2002. I rode about 18000 miles on my 1100 Aero and 12000 miles on my Goldwing 1800. The bag fits right over my Cobra sissy bar. It's expandable which is great, for example I could expand it when I had my full-face helmet in the bag and make it smaller when I put the half helmet in there. The duffel bag can be snapped on the top or behind me to be used as a driver's back-rest - very cool!!!! The side pockets are great to store items that you need to access often like a bottle of water. The bag was great on my Wing as well. It fit perfectly on the passenger seat and allowed me to lean against it. The bag is made out of leather which makes this an excellent value!

Just got this bag, and it was not the same as in the picture. The one I got was a front opening bag, not a top opening. Also there is no zipper to expand it, it just expands. Customer service had no answer, so I called the manufacturer (Carrol Leathers). The Bag is their model 306 Road Pack. They show the same picture on their web site as on Cruisercustomizing. Talking to Carrol Leather customer service, I found out they have two models of this bag the 306 and the 306 LFO. They said they are having manufacturing problems with the 306 so they are substituting the 306 LFO for it. From the comment it seems that the 306 LFO is a better product. It is easy to install and seems well made. I am looking forward to using it on a ride I have planned in the near future.
