I thought this would just fit under the rim of the headlight - it doesn't - you have to go much deeper into the assembly. Before you take the headlight apart, be sure to mark the headlight alignment on a wall - not only up/down, but left/right as well (I forgot the left/right). Now that I have it on, I do like the look that this gives the bike. I have a lightbar, and the passing lamps stick out in front of the headlight. This visor improves the look by sticking out slightly forward of the passing lamps. There is a STAR logo on hte visor, but that doesn't baother me.
