I often use the small circular bag (on top in the picture) alone when I need to carry a few items. I can fit a few bottles of water, shoes, shorts, a shirt, and a few small things inside the one and it straps on very easily. I have also used the larger bag for trips where I need to carry more and the two combines carry a lot! Its great quality and after you take a few minutes to figure out the best way to use the straps on your bike its an easy set up and a great bag.
