These are great. The look and feel good. The heel support (switchblade) is solid and feels great. However, installation was a pain. I have one of the original series that called for the KY-8813 splined adapted. Well, that adapter didn't/doesn't work. What did work was pairing them the KY-8830 footpeg adapters. The right footpeg goes on good and when threaded properly, it will tighten fully in a comfortable riding position and stay tight when pressure is put on it. However, the left footpeg will easily loosen up when you apply just the slightest heel pressure. These should have been reversed threaded or splined. Perhaps newer version do. I had to cut a slot into the apdater and wedge a piece of metal (a key) into that slot and a premade slot on the footpeg. That kept it from spinning freely. You must also keep checking the bolt tighteness on all the other bolts b/c they do vibrate loose occasionally and that will loosen up the switchblade part and make it sloppy.

Good: Easy installation, far more comfortable than stock with heel rest in closed position.
Bad: Difficult (maybe impossible) to totally secure the heel rest angle. The way to "set" the angle is to simply tighten the allen bolt connecting the peg to the adapter. There are no grooves, notches or anything else that would have made adjustments more secure, simply friction. Unfortunately, friction alone doesn't cut it especially if enough down-force is enacted on the heel rest.
Basically, if there were a way to secure the angle without welding it or something, this peg would be absolutely perfect. Again, I'm no mechanic or engineer so I may have missed something.
