nicer sound than the Cobra's. A nice deep rumble without being excessively loud. Totally worth the money

VTX 1300 S RIDERS PLEASE READ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I just installed a set of these pipes and I love them. . .HOWEVER. . .the three inch pipes do not allow for side cover removal. My right cover was off when I put the pipes on, never thinking about the clearance. So my advice would be to modify your cover before installing your new pipes!!! The problem is the cover must move forward to clear the two mounting studs/fingers, and the additional width of the pipes doesnt allow for that movement. I used a dremel and a cut-off wheel to reduce the depth of the mounting receptacle but left enough of the depth so it still holds the side cover in place. I took about half off, using three cuts on just the lower receptacle. Good Luck! ! !
