Cruise Control¨ fork lowering kits are available for most models. These kits, when combined with shorter than stock rear shocks, will give you that low, custom look. Our Cruise Control kits come complete with our famous Progressive rate Fork Springs, spacers, and instructions.

WARNING! Installing a lowering kit WILL decrease initial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns. To maintain proper balanced geometry, we recommend lowering the motorcycle in the rear the same amount as the front.

Important: See fitment details!

CruiserCustomizing Staff Pick:

Overall Rating: (5).
Reviewed on 10/27/04 by CruiserCustomizing Staff: Kyle Bradshaw (ManyBikes) from Escalon, CA for a 2003 VTX 1300 Retro:

The stock springs were worthless! Too soft, noisy, and clinch causing when tackling large bumps. These springs would make ANY VTX1300S ride much much better. Like the shocks.... I hated them the first two weeks I rode on them, but I now wonder how I ever did without them! I did not use the lowering springs that came in the kit. I figured I drag board (not any more... now its frame!) enough I did not need to be any lower to the ground. The installation of the springs actually raised the bike almost an inch. (Stupid saggy stock springs!) Great buy!

Works pretty good. I only lowered it 1 in since all the other things I've read said that the ride was better yet stiff and I didn't wanna bottom it out too easy the engine sticks down below the frame rails.
