They are easy to bend with the flex sole, just like Milwaukee advertises. The cons: they are heavy (not more heavy that other good, heavy-constructed boots though) and the heel is too big for me. If you have a foot shape like me, that's average width in the toes and ball of-the-foot and a narrow heel, these boots aren't for you. They slipped up and down on my feet until I got aggravated with them and just took them off. If you don't have a narrow heel, these boots are great and I reccomend them. They do run a little large. I ordered a half size down and the length was just right. I do wish my heels were average widths so that I could enjoy these boots!!! (aarg!)
