WARNING! Installing a lowering kit WILL decrease initial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns. To maintain proper balanced geometry, we recommend lowering the motorcycle in the rear the same amount as the front. Important: See fitment details!
This accessory fits all current model years for:- Yamaha Road Star 1600/1700- Yamaha Road Star 1600/1700 Silverado - Yamaha V-Max - Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic Important Fitment Details: '03 to current VN1600 Vulcan Classic '93 to '07 V-Max 1200 '99 to '03 Road Star '04 to '07 Road Star (not Warrior Special notes: On the VN1600 Vulcan Classic, reuse the stock spacer. On the Road Stars, spacers are not included. They may easily be fabricated from aluminum or PVC pipe.

I had a hard time with the instructions (ref the spacer size), because they do not have specific instructions for the Vulcan Classic 1600. I called Progressives Tech Dept and eventually I got a hold of the lead tech. He was friendly and told me exactly what I needed to do.
