My Arlen Ness mirrors came with metric adapters for my Honda. I used those first, but found that the mirrors sat way too low; had to keep ducking my head down to see the cars behind me. The Drag Specialties adapters have a spacer built into the nut, which got my mirrors to just the right height. They look nice too!

Necessary to install a variety of aftermarket mirrors. They do the job but you may need to cut some length to get the right look, cause otherwise the threads might be exposed. Also to adjust the mirrors is a PITA, especially in every day situations (but that's a problem of the combination of adapters with some aftermarket mirrors & not a problem of the adapters). Some put loctite to secure'em.
