Mustang's seats feature a 16 inch wide deeply pocketed driver seat that sits you at the ideal cruising angle. The entire 13 inch width of the comfortable rear seat is fully supported by Mustang's unique internal steel support wings-- no sagging on the edges, no more customer complaints. Sold as a complete set including the two-piece seat and removable driver backrest. The built-in driver backrest offers more features than any other backrest on the market. Built on a marine-grade fiberglass baseplate, the two-piece seat mounts like stock. The vintage style features a skirt with braided edge trim, and a smooth clean look with no studs and no conchos.

After asking around I purchased this Mustang seat with the back rest and everyone was right. This seat is great and you must have the back rest. I can't imagine not having the back rest. This seat is like night and day from the stock seat. I think the stock people make the stock seats so bad that you will buy after market seats. Be it as it may, I would highly recommend this seat.

The seat was easy to install except for getting the 8mm bolt started back in the mounting hole. The edge of the driver's seat is very close to the bolt making it a hassle to remove the seat quickly to get to the battery. The overall construction is outstanding with high quality stitching throughout. The braided edge trim is very nice. My wife enjoys the narrower pillion, which she feels doesn't cut into her thighs like the wider stock pillion did. I was concerned about the way the driver's seat initially felt, but it grows on you the more you sit on it. The backrest is a welcome comfort on longer rides, putting you in a more upright position similar to sitting in a chair. After using this seat for several months, I'm very pleased with it.

This seat is by far the most comfortable and best investment I have made on the bike so far. I am 6'3 and about 260 lbs spent a few 10 to 12 hour days in the saddle on a recent trip this summer and I was not sore at all. the drivers back rest is a must and I wll never own another bike without one, Great for the long trips.
