1-1/2" diameter chrome-plated handlebars for the "biggest fattest" look. Custom bends for the ultimate in comfort. 1.5" bars taper to 1" at the grip/control area. Drilled and dimpled for stock Harley Davidson controls and fit most metric controls with little to no adaptation. Ape Hanger, Classic and Bagger bars MUST USE special risers that accept 1 1/2" bars (PART #DS-1803-1509 sold in related products below). 1 1/2" risers include upper clamps and feature hidden clamp bolts. Made in the USA.

For 7 years I was talking to my German buddy about a trip over the Rocky Mountains. He wanted Apehangers on his ride. He got the biggest and baddest bars! We installed them on my 1100 Aero. With the 1.5" risers we just had to drill the triple tree a bit. I already had Barnett oversized cables (stock +4 inches) when I had Beach bars on the Aero. The 16" Apes are perfect to not get in trouble with the law in California (bars cannot be higher than shoulder height). I'm 6'5" tall and might try the 18" apes (will need a 6" over stock clutch cable for that). Riding with apehangers is actually really comfortable. We just came back from 1700 mile trip and my buddy loved the ride. They look freaking cool too!!!

These are great - 2 inch risers and 16 apes. The drivers back rest and highway pegs and you are in for a pain free day of riding. I am 6'3 215 lbs and i am super comfortable. These bars clean up nice and they are beefy to add to the look of the VTX!
