It does take some getting used to as this mirror is smaller than the preview picture may lead you to believe. Before buying, I got a ruler and marked the specs on a piece of paper to give a realistic size estimate. I was on the fence when I received it because it was fairly small. I decided to install it and it's grown on me. Field of vision is obviously limited but if you position it correctly, this is not an issue. Coming from the Mickey Mouse stock mirrors on my bike, this one is awesome! It's sleek and low profile giving the bike a whole different attitude. I went with this mirror over the Arlen Ness and don't have regrets. The Ness mirror is actually a bit smaller both in width and height. Will be buying another one for the right side soon.
