About Me
I have been riding for many years now. In 2005 I bit the bullet and bought my baby new. I love it! It rides like a dream and she's been constantly updated with Chrome and Shiney stuff since I got her. I also play drums in a rock band up in Montreal and when not doing that I reff hockey (hey what else can I do in the winter when I can't ride). The highlight of my riding experience so far has been Laconia and Daytona Beach! I plan to get to Sturgis one day but think I'll leave my baby home as she'll feel a little overwhelmed by all the HD's! Also my plan is to ride across Canada and then down the west coast and back along route 66.

Ok so from a Canadian perspective:
Seeing as I am from around this area an dhave done this ride several times. The best time to do this is in the spring (Apple orchards all over the place in blossom) or fall (leaves are turning). Since this is a mountainous secondary road its never very busy traffic wise any day of the week.

At the end of that road is a little cafe to stop and eat and meet up with lots of fellow riders. The view is on Lake of 2 mountains and its a very nice road through the mountains in the area. Lots of trees and the road winds in spots but its more the views.
there are lots of gas stations and restaurants. Since its not too long of a ride you don't have to worry. Great ride for about 2 hours.
For a longer ride, jump on the Oka Ferry and go across to Hudson. Once off the ferry hang a right and continue along Main Street (Chemin Principal) and follow that along the water until you reach route 342. Continue along until you arrive in Rigaud. From there, head back along Chemin de la Marie and the right on Hwy 201. Turn right on Hwy 338 which is Chemin du Canal and follow that until you reash Boul Harwood (20) Turn Right, then at the next light turn left on Ave St Charles. Follow that along and you will end up back at the Hudson/Oka Ferry. Jump back on and you can cross back to Oka.
