Bought these because I found a set super cheap. Even though I just mounted it, I know what I'm getting into. On my last bike I had this same tire in the WWW version. Great traction, but short tread life. Just took off a set of Metzellers which I wasn't thrilled with. They were just too slick from start to finish. I'll gladly sacrafice tread life for traction. I may try the Bridgestone Exedra next. They were on my bike when I bought it, but they were all worn down and came off the bike immediately.

This is the stock tire for both my Hondas, 750 ACE and VTX 1300S. This tire handles well and wears well. I get about 10-12K miles on this tire. Will continue replacing with Dunlop 404.

Stock Honda Tire, Only model I found when I had to replace it. I was hoping for a Metzler, but the Manufacture said it was not available.

Only had 5,000 miles on my set, but a nail ended the life of the rear tire. I like to keep the set the same age, so I replaced both. 3rd set of these I have had on a VTX 1300. They seem to work very well.

Update: I have purchased 6 Dunlop tires for my VTX (3 front and 3 back) since December 2007. One rear and one front were out-of-round and had to be replaced. Maybe Dunlop needs a little better quality assurance?
