Can't compare value or comparison to other brands as this is the first jet kit I have had. Have had cobra pipes on bike for 7 years without jet kit, and no problems, however since install there is a difference in throttle response. I am happy with it, would not have purchased if the carbs had not been gummed up though. Its not a must have, but if you want/need a jet kit then go for it.
