My mechanic did all the rejetting and modifications. He knows what he's doing so I can't say how difficult it would be for a first timer. The change in performance is dramatic with the jetting and a new air cleaner and pipes.

Installation was straight forward, took some time. Cut my hand takeing off the stock airbox. I installed it with new pipes, noticable increase in horsepower and response.

Very easy to do, AFTER you remove all the interferance. Unlike most people, I did NOT have to disconnect the Carb from the intake (much less remove the tank or seat). The reason: small hands with long fingers. So, it CAN be done while still installed if you have slender finders and an offset screw driver. As for performance, I did this in conjunction with installing new pipes, but by doing both I have noticed a marked difference in response.

Still trying to tune this bad boy up!! I can't make a real great review on this yet but will keep it up to date when I get the bike running a lot better. It is a must to get to put after market pipes on. I do know that much. Directions for this is not the best make sure you hold on to the problem solving sheet will come in very handy unlike what I did with it through it away! Very not so good idea to trough out.

Not to bad to install once you know what you are doing. I removed the airbox and the gas tank to begin with. I was able to remove the carb. enough to work on it without disconnecting the idle adjustment, choke, or the throttle linkage. I just removed them from their brackets but left them attached to the carb. Like others have said: the needle can be found by removing the top 4 screw cover and the main jet is under the bottom 4 screw cover. The main jet is right in the center and sticks out. My old one had 125 stamped on it so that is how I knew I had the right part. Be sure to drain the gas out of the carb. drain before starting. I forgot and my garage smells like gas now.

A real pistol to install for someone who is as mechanically challenged as I am sometimes, but I did it after about 4 or 5 hours. Bike runs noticeably better. I haven't taken it a great distance, but I can tell the difference on the short jaunts, I've taken. A must for the aftermarket pipes I have.

You can really feel the diffrece on the throtle responce. It took me about two hours to install the jet kit. The hardest part of the installation was getting the carburator out, i had to take the gas tank out for easier accses I made sure i labeled everything before removing parts. And guess what i didn't have any extra screws. (ha,ha,ha,)

Easy install after removing all parts surrounding carb. One problem encountered did not leave slack on throttle cable pull, on the carb caused throttle sticking when steering is turned left. Pulled back apart and left a little slack on throttle cable push/pull on carb and everything was groovy. definately easy install.

A definite improvement with an addition of aftermarket pipes. Notice that the bike accelerates better, and turns a lower RPM at highway speeds. Had dealer install when bike was in for routine work.
