I set up the jet, needle, and mixture adjustment as Dynojet recommends and I have not had to readjust anything. I no longer have to warm the bike up for the most part I can start and go. Installing the jets is easy enough with the carb removed from the bike. Total down time for me was about 2 hours. Throtle response is much quicker, and warm ups are much shorter. (5 stars) reviewed on 02/25/06 bymike (redhawk454) from Greeley, CO, United States, for a 1999 600 Shadow VLX wrote: I bought my motorcycle used, and the guy I bought it from removed the baffles from the factory pipes. This caused the engine to run lean. This kit worked awesome. It wasnt as easy as some guys were telling me. My 99 Shadow VLX had to have the seat, tank, and airbox removed in that order just to get to the carb. Running lean = VERY BAD!! This kit = VERY GOOD!!! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? I haven't noticed a change in my gas milage, but there is definitely a change in response. If you change your pipes, do the full package and install this jet.
