Simple to install but you will need to lift the tank (it doesn't have to come completely off). Simple to program with a laptop. Lots of maps available on the web and also lots of local shops (at least around here) that will do a dyno run and custom map.

I purchased this item upon the recommendation of the manufacturer of my Roadhouse 2 into 1 headers. The headers performed just fine before I installed the unit, except for occasional backfire/popping under certain deceleration conditions. So it was my hope that this would eliminate that condition, but it did not. I was also hoping that I would be able to adjust the shift rpm in first and second gear, but I'm not sure if that's possible. To be fair, I haven't tried any other MAP setting yet, and I probably should contact the manufacturer to learn more.

Installed along with Hyprocharger intake and DG Hardkrome 3" exhaust. Very easy to map the correct ignition profile for my bike from the website. Mileage did not change noticably and power increase is very evident.

Install was no problem. Re mapping the jets, not so hard since one of my best friends has a custom bike shop. I used his equipment and he made sure I didn't screw anything up. It really wasn't that hard. They did a good job in making this easy.

This product is more than worth the money. The performance increase was incredible, (makes the wife hold on really tight which was worth the price alone!!!:):):)) and throttle response is amazing. Installation was very simple and instructions were good however, Power Commander does not tell you to remove the gas tank which is a must!!! Routing of the wires and the ability to access the injectors would be almost impossible without the removal. You are able to "professionally" attach and route the harness with the added room to work. One last thing, I called about the maps which are dated as 2004 and Tech support tells me there have been no changes. If you are looking for a performance increase this is it!!!! A must have in my opinion
