When I contacted manufacturer they were willing to replace the bracket piece but said without any PROOF that the saddlebag was lost they won't cover the replacement. Despite the fact I bought saddlebags through a distributor who contacted them and verified I was replacing one. So sorry kids, maybe this was an exception but this system isn't 100% secure. You can't remove key when putting on the bags "unless" it's secure, yet it fell off... things happen, but the manufacturer failed miserably at making good. Install was a snap. Appear well made. Waiting on saddlebags...then we'll see how well they perform. Had to choose between these & "Ghost Brackets", after researching EasyBrackets was the obvious choice. Now that I've had these for a while with bags on...don't like them. They vibrate, are loose and not very secure. They are NOT easy-on/easy-off. Also the bolts drag on the tire when I ride two-up or bottom out.
