The ability to adjust fore and aft.Recently I discovered another benefit for these brackets, their adjust ability allowed me to use them on my Raider too. mcdonder (mcdonder) from South Lyon, MI, United States, for a 2006 750 Magna wrote: I just installed Easy Brackets on my wife's '04 Magna. Haven't attached the Willie and Max compact slanted bags yet because I'm lowering the bike first, but they should attach just fine. Good product: The brackets attach cleanly and when removed the replacement fender rail bolts look good. Warning: I had difficulty with the left side bracket's fit due to the silly helmet lock welded to the frame. I needed to bang on the lock to bend it down a fraction of an inch in order for the left side bracket to slip cleanly onto the front rail bolt. Not everyone has had this problem. I'm just lucky, I guess... Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Eric Lewis (dreymark) from londonderry, NH, United States, for a 1999 Black VF750 750 Magna wrote: Had these on the bike for about 4 months now, and overall they're a great product. Fit is good for my '99 Magna. My Tourmaster saddlebags look better on them and now don't rub on the fender. (they were leaving marks on the plastic fender from the pressure of the back seat as it was a tight fit with old saddlebag strap underneath) I marked them down a little for quality of the finish - the paint on one is starting to peel a little at one of the edges. One word of caution - though it's claimed that these will replace standard saddlebag brackets, over time my bags sagged in the warm weather to the point that they were rubbing on the top of my pipes (they were mounted about an inch above to start) Ultimately I fabricated a pair of SS plates to beef up the back side of the bags. So now everything is rock solid. Almost like having hardbags. I cut the strap off the bags, and now everthing looks slick. Hopefully I can get some pics uploaded soon.
