Took several times to get the bolts lined up just right after tightening them down. Easy to add, just be patient. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 06/19/12 byBev Lundeen (Jtsnana) from Rockford, IL, United States, for a 2007 750 Shadow Aero wrote: These are supposed to be real easy to install, but after both my husband and I trying to get them on, I eventually had to take it to a shop to have them installed (not so "easy" bracket) but once they are in, they are great. I love being able to lock my bags on my bike and being able to remove them when I want and not have unsightly hardware left on my bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Install was also very easy once we did the hard part of relocating the rear turn signals. I did not have to remove the helmut lock in order to get this item to work on the 2009 Aero 750. A major pain in the ass for me to get on because I had to ask a friend to modify them to go around the helmet lock, but love them! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Just shim the bolts with washers till later. Used to mount my A1saddlebags. Works great for quick removal of your bags. Best to remove the helmet lock for proper fitment of the Easy Bracket. (5 stars) reviewed on 04/30/10 by(emag521) from , NJ, United States, for a 2004 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Pros: 1. Easy to install, 2. Thick and heavy built to last, 3. Almost makes my bags clear the turn signals in stock position, 4. Lockable and easy to remove, 5. The posts look good without bags, Cons: 1. Must remove helmet lock on the Aero 750 Thoughts: The brackets are very nice and well built it makes it very easy to remove your bags and take them with you. The install is easy enough however be aware that if you have the stock helmet lock on you Aero you must remove it or the left bracket will not fit. This is not mentioned in the instructions. You will need a torque wrench and a 8mm socket not a 10 like the instructions state maybe just me but I am just letting you know. I mounted a piece of plexiglas inside a set of Willie Max throw over bags with 2 face tape and then drilled my holes everything seems to hold fine. I would get these brackets again they really stream like the bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 04/14/10 byJason Brinson (knightshae) from Milledgeville, GA, United States, for a 2009 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Make sure to read the instructions thoroughly, you may need spacers which aren't provided with the kit. Also, if you have a backrest you may need to get the version of this kit that is for those with backrests. Your bolts may be to short otherwise. Other than that, once installed these are nice to have and allow you to ditch your bags for normal day-to-day riding. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(3 stars) reviewed on 04/09/10 by(bender001) from , , United States, for a 07 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Had to remove the rear fender to access the bolts for the helmet lock. I relocated the helmet lock to the right side peg bracket. The chrome plating peels off the inside of the Allen head of the bolts but easy brackets is shipping me some new bolts at no charge. I also installed an aluminum plate inside the bag to prevent them from sagging when fully loaded. Despite the slight issues involved in installing them I highly recommend them and like how easy it is to strip the bike back down to the bare bones. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Need two people to get it all lined up. But the results are worth it to be able to carry full saddlebags inside. Kind of concerned weather saddlebags will sag but haven't had them on long enough to find out. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 01/02/09 byKevin (KJenne) from Glencoe, AL, United States, for a 2008 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Very sturdy product. So much better than the look of a yoke and having it scratch the top of your back fender. I had difficulty installing as the bracket would not go on evenly over the supplied fender mounting bolts. I fonally go them on, but will be very difficult to remove as I forced them on the bolts. After doing more reasearch and talking to others, this seems to be a common problem. After tightening and retightening the bolts, some chrome started flaking from the alan holes. I emailed EB customer service, and they sent 4 new ones out immediatley. Great customer service. If I had a do-over, I might try Ghost brackets as they mounta bit differently. Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Had to send one back because I ordered the wrong one. Didn't wait for a refund just reordered. Didn't want to move the tailights , so I bought two hard back sissy bar bags and mounted them. Every one says they are two small but they gave me plenty of clearance above the exhaust. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
