It is a great product. I ended up making a couple of boards out of plastic kitchen boards for the inside of my saddle bags, and they work great!

Easy to install and quick to release the bags when you want to take them off. On and off in less then five seconds. This review is actually for the EZ-VTX-CI with Cobra backrest.

easy on/off with key, but must drill holes into back of bags. Support system virtually invisible when bags off. Would buy again.

These work great once you get them lined up. It takes a little work to get the braket lined up so you can us the locks to take them off and put them back on. Worth the work though.

Nice quality. Fairly Simple install also. Word of advice - before tightening all the bolts for the brackets and trying to attach backrest, use the spacer and bolt to line up the middle hole. If not, you will not be able to get the threads started when you attempt to re-attach the backrest to the bike. You could actually install it w/o removing the backrest, just have to remove the rear most bolt to attach the small spacer plate. Also, do not overtighten the backrest back on the bike. If you do, you will crack the chrome/plastic trim.

A great accessory for me as we like to keep the bike "clean" looking most of the time, no shield or bags. Mounting the brackets themselves was very easy but getting the bags just right (height and angle to each other) took some time. Haven't had this product long enough yet to tell on the durabilty, hence the middle of the road rating. Will update that as time goes on.
