Mounting the brackets themselves was very easy but getting the bags just right (height and angle to each other) took some time. The order was not shipped for a few weeks because one of the items was back ordered. Finally got the order in and the key for the easy bracket was not the right key number. I called Easy Bracket and they quickly sent me another set of keys that do work. They were also very nice and appoligized for the mix up. Now I need to get them installed! I ordered the easybrackets for the Deluxe backrest. When I got the parts and tried to install it, something was wrong. The mounting studs did not appear to fit properly into the slots of the main bracket. I have spoken with Easybrackets and they told me they have just become aware of a change to the deluxe bracket from Hondaline. Apparently the slots in the brackets were changed from rectangular to a gradually narrowing slot from front to rear. This causes the mounting studs to not fit properly. These brackets appear to be showing up all over the country along with the older style. Easybrackets said they are changing the design to meet this unexpected change from Honda. They said they were unaware of the change since Honda didn't change the part number, just the design. Update: Dave at Easy Brackets was great to deal with. I hunted for MONTHS to find some kind of saddlebag guards and bags (other than hondaline) that would work. I finally found the easybrackets, and Saddlemen Jumbo Cruis'n Slant bags. Installation was pretty straight forward, but I had to add some washers as spacers between the bag and the bracket itself (otherwise, the cam lock would not turn enough to put the bracket on the mounts properly). That was probably the only design flaw. Other than that, they look great (when on and off), extremely sturdy and have already ridden 100's of miles with them.
