Easy Brackets are an innovative two (2) point docking system that allows the quick and easy installation and removal of saddlebags. Easy Brackets use two (2) existing bolts holes in the fender rail of the motorcycle. By replacing the existing bolts with the docking posts and longer bolts provided in each kit, the Easy Brackets can then be instantly installed and locked into place.

Because each Easy Bracket is for your motorcycle, you will receive all of the correct hardware with your order. The docking posts and bolts are especially designed to work perfectly with your motorcycle, eliminating the hassles of adding spacing washers to either line up the docking posts or to achieve a good, tight fit.

I actually have the "ghost brackets" brand. Anyway, they are very nice. I used them in combination with Saddleman Jumbo bags. I did need longer bolts even without a backrest. Besides that though, everything went smoothly. Its a great and durable product with perfect functionality. Like i have done before, i always add some reinforcement aluminum strips on the inside of the bags(using the 4 mount bolts) so the plastic bag backing doesnt take all of the load. I cant see going a different route with bags from now on. Very pleased.

had these on Vulcan 1600 and consider them an absolute necessity now. Build quality is first-rate as is immense convenience of being able to remove the saddlebags for cleaning bike or lighter, more streamlined riding. Totally unobtrusive mounting pins when bags are off bike. For the uninitiated, these always are a SOB to put on and never seem to fit perfectly on the first go-round. To save some aggravation, put a little vaseline on the rims of the bracket mounting holes (the smaller end that will seat on the fender posts) and you'll get 'em on, and off, on the first try. UPDATE: Mounting is metal to metal & although you can't remove them when they're locked, there is some play up & down which results in aggravating 'clunk' on every bump. Also, make sure bags you're mounting them to offer a centered flat surface (at least as big as the easy bracket plate) for mounting. A hardbag like the cheap pieces of s@#t in my bike pic aren't flat & will distort just enough to make fitting the lid ...
