great item, way too expensive imho, but there is nothing else out there as well made & thought out as these brackets...Love that they lock your bags to your bike and they look really amazing on my bike with my saddleman slant desparado bags mounted on them. Only issue was when installing these you must LOOK at where the supplied bolt goes on your fender (their bolt replaces the one there to hold on your fender and sissy bar) when you put their bolt on be sure you apply pressure/weight to your seat and make sure the bolt isn't too long on inside of fender that it might bruise or damage your tire during riding...I found bolt too long for my bike- called the mfg and had them send me right length...Even though the brackets were ordered specifically to fit my make, model and year bolts were still too long. but company was good about sending shorter bolts. I love these brackets...Highly recommend them.

Had issues with the left side brackets not lining up on the mount. Called Tom at Easy Brackets and he was awesome and hooked me up with a replacement bracket. Worth the money not to have the saddle scuffing the paint. Great product

Nice addition to almost any saddle bag. I installed these on my Drifter Slant Bags very easily. Being able to lock the saddle bags in place and easily remove them from the bike make them the perfect accessory for any road trip. Get the EasyBrackets easy tote to make carrying them back and forth like carrying luggage. These will be mandatory on any road trip bike I have in the future.

Mine are actually made by Ghost Brackets much sturdier than these EasyBrackets brand. Clean, easy to install, quick release and sturdy bracket. The bracket system is easy to install and once installed no tools are needed to remove your saddlebags. They are installed by removing the two bolts from your fenders and replacing the two OEM bolts with the Ghost Bracket bolts and hardware - very clean looking. The brackets are then bolted on to your saddlebag and simply slide right on.

Great concept. Interesting drilling into saddlebags for bracket installation. But went ok. Scews intrude on inside of bags a little far, but does not seem to bother anyting so far. Ordered wrong hardware, long bolts, trying to correct this. Bags stick out a little far from bike, but with correct hardware should be ok.

I'm really glad I bought this item. I am also glad I read the posts before installing it. When I installed the brackets with my saddlebags and Willie and Max Hooker I left the yoike on. The yoke covers up the mounting brackets when the bags are on. The warrior bags zip off of the yoke. The zipper is positioned so that I can access the lock beneath. When I mounted the brackets I did not like how far the mounting bolt even with the post extended into the wheel well below the fender. Therefore I left my old saddlebag supports on as a spacer. When the bags are off the support is still there. In order to mount the bracket I followed the instructions to set the bolts put the brackets on with the bracket locked. Then I had to set the bolt with the bracket unlocked. I went back and forth loosening and tightening the post mounts with the bracket locked and unlocked. Eventually I got it tweaked so that I could unzip and unlock the mounts and pull them off and then put them back on again, l...

Bought a new set when I changed from hard to soft bags, not because I needed two, but because the powder coat was flaking off and the paint bubbled up in a couple of areas. Even with the need to replace, these are still the best things on the market. Not to mention the staff at Easy Brackets have been focused on the customer and making sure that I was happy. Didn't use a tape measure, just sort of lined it up, shimmed the pieces into the right position and marked the bracket edges with a scratch awl, from there I drilled out the holes in the bag to mount them. Only 2 of the four holes lined up in the bag so I reused one of my custom L brackets to support the weight and drilled and mounted it to the bracket for installation. Now the weight should be on the L and the easy braket should just be keeping it to the bike. I just didn't feel safe resting the weight of the fiberglass bag and the contents on 3 bolts. Total installation time was around 2 hours, having a drill press sure ...

got these off the shelf at a local shop in the UK after reading the reviews here i did not believe they would be as bad as made out to install but OMG what a knightmare had to dismantle the locking mech and cut and shut that, the bolts holding the mounting peg in place were way to long so they got cut up and getting the alignment just so was a pain now there on they aint coming off ever!! worth the skinned knuckles and the swearing, yes just for the ease of bags on bags off and once on they do not move and can carry more than i thought

I love the idea of these, in practice though they leave alot to be desired. My first set of EZ brackets would not lock property, and I did not want to modify them in the worry of voiding warranty. Called the company and explained the problem. They said that a small batch had been manufatured wrong and they would send me a new set. Got the second "correct" set and they did not fit right either. I did not want to mess with calling for a third set as needed to use my bags the following week. I modified my brackets, and was able to get one side to lock propery. The other side still does not lock up tight, and if you jiggle it a bunch you can remove it without a key.

Ha problems getting them to work properly . It took some work to make the brackets fit the pegs on the bike properly ie some grinding of the holes, otherwise they would not fit and the locks would not lock. After enlarging the holes everything fits OK.

I really like these brackets. They are sturdier than I thought from the picture. I have a set of throw over bags from Yamaha that I used and didn't want to cut that part off in case I wanted to use them that way again. There was enough room inside the bracket that attaches to the bag to roll up the flap and place it inside the bracket itself. If I want to use them as throw overs again all I have to do is remove the bracket and relace them together. I probably never will though as I like the way they work very much. I did have trouble with the locking mechanism not wanting to engage. After some rebending they are working. This really is something that the manufacturer should check into. I would still get them again in a heartbeat.
