That said, I have used these particular pads exclusively after replacing the originals. I average about 25,000 miles a set though most of my riding is highway driving. I have been extremely pleased with these items. As for tires, I have tried Dunlop, Metzlers, and AVON Cobras. I have not found anything that even comes close to the Avon Cobras, across the board for my cruiser. My experience showed that Metzlers were the next best tire.
