I bought them because the dealer didn't have OEM in stock. They were installed properly (important for following rap on them). They absolutely stop better than the OEM's but according to the mechanic that will only last for about 1/4 to 1/3 of the pad, then only as good as OEM. They will NOT outlast OEM for mileage. I rode my bike less than 2 miles before I had my first real stop. Yes, they stopped very well. However the racket that came from both the front and rear pads really caught my attention. It was like that sound that you get when you backpedal a derailer system on a mountain bike only VERY LOUD!!! There was NEVER a reduction in noise for about 50 miles so I went back to the dealer and asked them about it. They noted that these brakes ALWAYS make noise but they're cheaper than OEM and that's why they sell them. They tried to assure me that after 300 miles they would quiet do... They don't squeak as much but that could be because they are new. Review Details 0 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
