The "Ground Loop Isolator" (left unit in photo) is designed to remove hiss and alternator whine from the audio signal. This is the unit we usually recommend. The "GL1800 Direct Connect" plugs into the OEM wiring harness eliminating one cable and generally require no adaptors. We have a 6 foot extension cable available that will plug into most Satellite Radio units with the highly desired Right Angle Male Plug (see EC-
03208)

This replaces the radio's stock AUX input cord, plugging directly into the OEM connector under the left fairing pocket. It work, completely eliminating the whine I heard when listening to my iPod or to my XM Roady. It has a straight plug and no grommet. It would be perfect if it, like the stock connector, had a right angle plug and a grommet to fill the hole in the bottom of the pocket.
