It looks great. Installation is not that hard if you have the wiring diagram for your bike. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

It lights the Tail of your bike into the dark, at day nothing special! The instalation took a time... and was not easy! After a while and replacement of a few LED´s it was ready but I wasn´t very satisfied with the result! Also glueing the rings with Silicone isn´t the best choice! If somebody finds a better solution, please mail me!! For safetyreasons its better than nothing thats for sure!!! I will keep it! Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Installation not difficult, but does take some time to disassemble and reassemble. I am not really a fan of having to "glue" the LED board to the lens since it does show when you are up close. Would have prefered something fabircated to clip to the lamp base, but oh well. I would certainly buy it again. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. I kept reading the horrors of getting the wires through the stems. I also read the article on installation. To make this short and easy; (2003 Shadow Ace 750, standard turn signals) Remove the 2 top bolts on license plate and remove. Remove 2 bolts behind license plate. Remove 2 lowest nuts on underside of fender. Turn indicator bar is now detached. Don't sweat the wires they are color coded and simply pull apart. Remove lens and bulbs. Remove 2 philips head screws from underside of each stem, chrome cover is now detached. Remove the 2 allen head screws from each head. With turning indicator in hand, remove 2 philips head screws inside the dome. Shimmy the bulb socket side to side to remove from base. Pull the wire free from the rubber groumet. Now you can access the complete turning indicator system to run your wires trouble free. I removed the tail light and accessed the b... Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. I really like the look the LED rings add to the rear of the bike but they only work if you have clear lens. These with the Kuryakyn Deep Dish Bezels covers on my turn signals really give it a retro look. The installation is not hard but very fidely. In the future when I add a new fender I will wire them all the way up to the connection behind the right side cover. I read where another guy did this and there is a lot more room there to add the wires. My advise is to remove the turn signal completely from the bike this will allow you to work easily on the wiring and assembly of the light inside the turn signal. If you also remove the light for the license plate it will allow you to lift the plate and access the wires more easily. When you have big fat fingers working with wires can be frustrating...thats why I did it and not my girlfriend. Anyway here is the wire chart for the 750 ACE so you won't have to look it up Dark Green=ground Li... Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? The LED of the kit matches the brake light. Will definetly help in the safety department. Only drawback is the installation. make sure you leave a lot of time to do it right. Leave the silcone to dry at least overnight. If you are using clear lenses do not out too much on as you can see it thorugh the lense and don't move it around. Get it, get an electronics guy to install it [like me] and you'll get greater respect on the road. (Don't understand the question of 'how comfortable' in the ratings???) Very bright. The orange turn signals really do turn red at night like they say. I would recommend this to anyone who wants added visibility and doesn't want to spend a bunch of money.
