I had this system installed on my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit. I am pleased with the extra lighting. I only wish that system would of made the brake light blink 3 times when you applied the brake. It is definitely not as bright during the day.

These function as they say. They really add the extra lighting to the rear of the bike to be seen. The reason I gave 4 stars on "ease of install" is do the difficulty of installing on mine and my wifes bike. Not to reflect on the kit but for other people to know that it is a little difficult. Over all doing the wiring was very easy although running it through the stalks on the turn signals was not the easiest. But thanks to some great advice it went smoothly. So one word of advice. On a bike like mine "03" Honda Shadow Spirit 750, pull some of the extra wire through the turn signal stalk out where the LEDs and turn signal bulb go. Then get a coat hanger push it through the back side of the stalk to the bulb area. Then electrical tape the LEDs wires to the coat hanger and pull the the wires and coat hanger trough the back side of the stalk. After that it is all down hill.

Installed on my 06 Spirit 750. This was my first real project on the bike (other than easy add-on chrome items) and it was everything i read about. Takes TIME, but i feel like a seasoned vet now that i completely tore everything apart, realizing only half of it needed to come off, and then doing everything wrong at least once, only to correct it like it should be. But is/was it worth it? YES, my visibility and exposure are dramatically increased. I got the Clear Alternative lenses as well. I took pictures and made the (useless) instructions as idiot proof as i could with color codes, notes, etc... So if anyone wants me to send them i can. Here are the must know items: *remove your seat and rear fender *completely dissemble the blinker housings and remove the blinker "post" for getting the wire tube into the narrow slot *don't forget to run the wires back through the slots in the rear fender when making all the connections :P Those are the main things, again, ask if you want m...

Install was realtively easy. I made it a bit harder by doing the flasher relocation at the same time using a MC relocation bracket kit. I really am just lazy and wanted to do both to avoid more work !!:) I HIGHLY recommend removing the fender for either the relocation or the conversion kit. On my bike there are 3 quick connects that allow you to completely remove the fender along with all electrical wiring, you can then do all the work on a kitchen table, though this may prompt some "pleasantries" with your significant other...:) Since this is a review for the conversion, the hight light of the reloaction kit is to make sure you add the "extra wire length" to fit under the fender and make sure you have enough length to reach the quick connect on your bike. About 6" on the right side and 9" on the left side should do you. Make sure to run your paired wiring for the LEDs' at this point. Once you have the lens off , remove the bulb. See those 2 screws at the base, remove them. The base ...

Bought this with the wide cateye tail light to add more lights to the tail. I had a very difficult time installing this. Disassembling turn signal stem was most difficult. You had to know that a rubber plug pull out of the housing. Found this info using google. Instructions were good, but wrong. They had the wiring on the LEDs reversed. Also, I was not crazy about 'glueing' the LED ring to the lense. Come on, there has to be a better way to do this. Finally got it working...after two frustrating days. Definitely not for the novice. LEDs are not super bright, so I don't think they will add much value during the day, but will definitely add value at night.

These were a breeze to install! And the end product is great. I can't believe how much lighting I have now. Everything worked just as detailed in the instructions. This is a must have product for anyone riding in low light conditions.

Installation took a little longer than expected. I ran the wiring along the original harness up to where they plug in under the seat near the battery. Looks like a factory installation. The hardest part was getting the wires through the rubber grommet into the turn signal housing. I used a large paper clip to fish them through. I had a shop manual on my bike which showed the wiring digram and colors so I was able to make the connections in about ten minutes. Worked perfect the first time and sure makes a lot of difference in lighting up the rear of the bike.

Great product. Love the safety feature that it adds. I would recommend soldering everything though, the connections were huge, I had to modify the fender to run all the wires and connections through.

Great lighting affects but difficult to run the wires through my signal arms. Used a stiff wire to pull the lead wires through with. Also didn't want to silicone the LEDs to the back of my lens so I made a clear plastic mounting bracket to hold the LEDs just over the bulb and hot glued the LEDs to it. Works great!
