However should have attached the led ring to the bulb instead of the clear lenses, would be a much "cleaner" appearance Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 03/10/07 bymark narloch (mnarloch) from Maineville, OH, United States, for a 2005 Burg/Beige 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: These things work great!! The instructions were good especially the pictures and diagrams. It installed quite easily. If you remove the signal light housing from the bar that it attaches to it is quite easy to pull the the wires through. I used a stiff wire to hook the electric wires and pull them through. I also removed the tail light by unplugging the harness from under the fender. This made it easier to connect the new wires to the brake wires and then put them back through the tail light hole. Be sure you run the new wires through the hole from under the fender out to the tail light before you make your connections. Review Details 8 out of 8 members found this review helpful. The kit comes with a tube of silicone that's supposed to hold the light ring to the inside of the lens. It didn't so I used super glue and they hold just fine. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/04/06 byBill Maxwell (maxwelwp) from LAKEVILLE, MN, United States, for a 2005 Beige 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: Nice feature to help make your bike more visible. Not sure about the attachment method of the LED's (silicone to inside of lense). Time will tell. I expected these LED's to replace the original equipment but they are in addition to the the std bulbs. Took aout 3.5 hrs to install but I took the entire rear light harness out and routed wires for the LED's in the same bundle to a connection area under my seat. Much more professional install that way and keeps the connection drier. Functions as advertised. Review Details 8 out of 8 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I had a problem with one of the LED's and the company sent out a replacement right away, and informed me that they warranty the LED's for life. Install was straight forward took about 2 hrs. You have to silicone the LED ring onto the inside of the lens. I did this the night before so I was able to install the next morning and go for a nice ride. (5 stars) reviewed on 02/11/06 byMike (VULCAN2) from Norton, OH, United States, for a 2005 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: Just installed these, added alot of extra light in the back. Right where you need it. install was easy once you get through the fender. Don't use the supplied wire connectors. Do the job right. solder the wires it looks better and not as bulky under the seat. I have clear lenses so these are really bright at night when you need the light most. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The kit works exactly as advertised. I removed the turn signal bar - made install much easier. Soldered all connections just to make sure there would be no problems. Well worth the money. Not much different during daylight hours but at night a real difference. As Grandma would say, "How nice to see you?" Instructions are fairly simple. Was able to all of the installation under the rear fender of the bike. A small wire or "looped ear currette" (medical instrument) made it simple to get wiring through turn signal tube. I removed the harness from under the wheel well in order to connect all wire temporarily before cutting or soldering anything and tested the system out. Take your time and it will work. (5 stars) reviewed on 04/06/05 by2ter (Tuter) from Waterford, NY, United States, for a 2003 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: The install isn't bad. Take off the turn signal assembly and the cover behind the fender, all the connections can be made right there with little difficulty. The instructions are good, just read and reread them and they will make sence. Many of the reviews I read said they didn't like the appearance of the LED's siliconed to the lenses, I siliconed them to the bulbs, just put a ring of silicone around the bulb, slide the LED ring on and let dry. I know, you will one day have to replace the bulbs, but it's only silicone, the LED's will come off. In the day light these new lights make little difference but at night they look great, they really stand out! Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful.
