Mandarin collar with microfiber padding. Breathable 1000D Carboflex® outer shell with Carbolex Lite® along sides of torso and underarm. Carboflex is lighter than leather and 90 percent of its strength. CE approved armor in shoulders and elbows with an SP Memory Foam® back pad.
Unique waterproof, breathable liner stretches with the outer shell. Spring-loaded zippered cuff closures with neoprene. Phoslite® reflective piping for increased nighttime visibility. Zippered chest pocket, two hand warmer pockets, plus phone and cargo pockets on removable liner. YKK front zipper closure.

Like D-Stone fabric by Dainese, only way less expensive. And it looks great--I get compliments on the cut all the time. The jacket flows air throughout, with no dead spots, which I love, but doesn't flow too much air, so you don't dry out and feel like you're in a blast furnace. I crashed this thing hard, landing on my shoulder, then sliding, in a high side on the street (which, I know, should never happen). Not only did it totally protect me, it's totally wearable afterward. My pants (not the same) were shredded. I saw a guy at the Cycle World motorcycle show who had one on that had obviously crashed. He said he went down at 50. The guy at the shop who recommended it later went down in his at 70. It held up perfectly too. This stuff is as good as it gets for hot weather.
