Decided that a Velcro closure was not the best option. These First Gear gloves have kept my hands dry and warm. The cinching strap works better than Velcro and the gauntlet draw string works well though I can't seem to do it with one hand. No matter, once it is set I rarely change it. I recommend these gloves.
