With liner in and the right base layer they kept me warm down into the 30's. With liner out there was plenty of air flow. I could wear lighter weight pants than jeans and still have protection. Fit true to size, keeping in mind they are overpants. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I ride in all weather - rain, cold, heat, etc. I have both the HT 2.0 Overpants and the HT 2.0 Air (mesh) Overpants. They work great and keep my dry. Comfortable and easy on/off. They are a little bulky to stow-away when I get to my destination - but it beats road-rash or arriving wet. I wear the Air/Mesh without the liner all summer long - and keep the liner stowed for rain. On cooler days, I add the liner for a little extra warmth - get's me into the Spring and Fall. I would prefer Kevlar and Cordura - but these are great for the price. Keith Sutton (keithjsutton) from Hayward, CA, United States, for a 2007, Red 900 Vulcan Custom wrote: 2nd pair of these over a 3-4 year period. First pair got chewed up a bit by my hot muffler (mostly over the knee, where I tend to bump the muffler if I'm not careful). The winter overpants were more resistant to melting - am hoping that this pair is better in that regard now. I wear these in the summer as they allow good airflow through the fabric, while providing protection for my body (particularly knees)and clothes. Not quite as much airflow as mesh, but there is also more protection and these are more comfortable to wear. Have not worn these in the rain so I don't know about water protection, but I suspect that they will not provide that type of protection. I wear them over dress slacks when I commute to work (daily in the SF Bay Area) to keep clothes clean and wrinkle free. These fit a little tighter than the warmer winter over-pants Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
