This item is needed to use 1st gear heated gloves. The dual controler will also operate the jacket liner, pants liner and sox. Works great.

This is by far the best accessory I have bought for my bike. There is no way to beat the warmth that this product provides. Paired with the 24" extension cables and the First Gear heated jacket liner and heated gloves, I can ride in any weather. I love this product and will never ever go without it again! Stop wasting money on warmer liners and thicker clothes and go for the real deal...the heated gear is by far the best way to go!

I purchased Gerbing's Dual Portable Temperature Controller (p/n TCPBD) and Dual Controller Leather Case & Belt Clip (p/n TCCD/RDCC) that holds the dual portable temperature controller. Gerbing's recommends some type of temperature contol or an on/off switch to be used. I needed the dual controller in order to separately control my Gerbing's heated gloves and heated jacket liner. Gerbing's uses two different colored knobs on the dual controller to differentiate between the two heated items.

work perfect but cables are to short at least for my bike C50T,also the connectors on both power out cable are female,the connector for the gloves also is female,so I have to buy a Y Long cable to use it.

I ordered this with the First Gear gloves. I wanted the dual controller in case I wanted to add another heated item later. I've only used it once but it worked very well. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Seems to be a high quality product. The wiring and placement of the controller is a bit problematic. I wound up cutting the wiring leads (not recommended by the manufacturer) and fitted with a cigarette lighter type plug. I stuck the velcro backing on the lower portion of my tank console and plugged into a handlebar mounted receptacle. The leads to the jacket are long enough to reach the wires from the Heat troller wires with room to spare. I would have prefered a permanent hard-mount, but would still have had a problem finding a place to mount it where the wires would reach the jacket easily and still be able to see and reach the controller to adjust the heat.
